There are 5 territories that make up this land we know and love. They are: Dipaka, Kavi, Sheraga, Yen, and Cruor. Each area has geography unique to that territory, however many similarities exist since the lands are interconnected. Basically, they have unique features, but overall you can find the same basic things in all areas - grass, water, trees, etc.
Any character is welcome in any territory, so long as the leader invites/allows them. They may tend to cater to certain personalities, but there is no forced divide between darks/lights or any other things. The territories are not necessarily against each other, nor are they always alliances. Dipaka and Cruor seem to be the ones most often at odds, for their natives tend to have fairly different views on life. The middle three territories can sometimes side with one or the other, or simply lie somewhere in between. Just because you are part of one does not mean you are not welcome in another, nor does it mean your character should not like characters from outside lands. Most of this is up to the relationships developed between the leaders within the lands.

DIPAKA
Dipaka is the northern-most territory. It borders the oceans along it's northern edge, though the waters are so deep and cold that few can reside there. To the north, a few small rocky hills coated in layers of ice and snow have caves running through them. Farther south, lithe pine trees begin growing up and the rugged ice sculptures give way to gentle hills and plains. The territory is known for it's frigid temperatures, blistering winds, and excessive snowfall. Even along the southern borders, snow still covers the ground for at least half of the year, the six short months when temperatures raise closer to 50 or 60 degrees. The colder regions in the north seem to have snow year round, because temperatures never raise above freezing.
Those who reside in Dipaka are called Dipakans.
KAVI
Kavi is located just south of Dipaka, with it's western border stretching along the coast, and eastern border butting up against the commonlands. The climate is considerably warmer than Dipaka, but snowfall is still seen throughout much of the colder months. Precipitation seems to fall daily, no matter the season, and when it's not raining or snowing, the air is still humid. The river is wide and has a strong current, running from the commonlands southward across the hilly plains of this territory. Lakes have formed in the lowest valleys between the hills.
Those who reside in Kavi are called Kavians.
SHERAGA
Sheraga is perhaps the most serene place here, right smack dab in the middle of everything. To it's north sits Kavi, and to it's east the commonlands. It has a gentle change from the trees found farther north to tall, willow, broadleaf trees. It has grassy plains painted bright with vivid hues. There is a wide variety of both flora and fauna found here, for it's habitat really seems to have the best of everything. The plains are rich in soil, making orchards thrive and flowers blossom. Some have noted that the sun seems to shine the brightest here, creating longer hours of daylight on this land.
Those who reside in Sheraga are called Sheragis.
YEN
Though Yen desires to be as tranquil as it's neighbor Sheraga, it's not. The river comes in from the north and curses through the area with strong currents and rapids, despite the fact that it grows shallow. Trees and grasses grow more sparse than in the region to the north, though they still remain alive. The temperatures warm up a bit, and the climate tends to be much more dusty and dry. There are a few creeks branching off of the river, and the constant state of fog most often leads to rainbows dancing across the skies. A few rocky cliffs stretch out across the western coast, yet instead of bring peril, they grow heavy with mosses and ivy.
Those who reside in Yen are called Yens.
CRUOR
Cruor is the southern-most territory, and the only one of the four that doesn't have any shared borders with the commonlands. The land is incredibly hot and much more desolate than any other, grasses becoming quite sparse in most areas. The rocky cliffs from Yen grow into jagged mountains full of cold, dark caves. The moon is visible at all times of night on the mountains, for very few trees block the view. Towards the east, the rocks gradually dissipate into long stretches of desert, without any trace of water. It is rumored that this territory is home to more vicious creatures than other territories, but no one really knows if rumors are true.
Those who reside in Cruor are called Cruors.
