Name: Perses Pronunciation: P-er-C-s Alias: N/A Age: a Very Long Time Breed: Friesian Appearance: There are only two things that set Perses aside from the Friesian breed. His forked tongue, that many see often since that's another way he can smell and sense things, and then his dragon wings. These two physical abnormalities keep him from being one of the normal mortals, and pushes him to be more immortal. Of course, Perses is, for he is a God. Having the rest look normal, Perses has more than what you could see on the outside. 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' is a rather pleasing quote to say around these guys.
Perses is a tall stallion, standing at the higher scale of Friesian sizes.. seventeen hands. He has large hind quarters, enabling him to kick out and break bones with ease, this strength comes from his enhanced strength as well. His ears are large, the tips heading inward slightly, making his ears look a bit more 'devilish'. He has tassels from his legs, covering over his dark black hooves. His hooves are large and legs are long, letting him travel great distances with ease. His large dragon wings come in handy especially when he gets tired or needs to get somewhere in a short period of time. His tail is long, wavy, and thick, along with his mane. His forelock covers his eyes, making him look more eerie and dark.
Perses is rather an easier form, due to being all reptile/lizard family. His common form is any old lizard he wants to be, his greater form is one of a komodo dragon, and his ultimate form is a dragon. Though he cannot access his dragon form in the mortal world, he can access his greater form in the mortal world, but has to watch out because he can get stuck in that transition. Perses doesn't roam into the mortal world often, but when he does, most will know it. Physical Abnormalities: Forked Tongue & Dragon Wings Element: Fire Talents: Enhanced Strength & Strategies Powers: Invulnerability, Explosion, Intuition, Night Vision, Medium-ship Controls: Thunder, Night/Darkness, Death Common Form: Lizard Greater Form: Komodo Dragon Mythological Form: Dragon Personality: Not very fond of others, Perses only lets a few get to know him. He holds off his thoughts and does not tell his feelings, no matter what circumstances. He is not outgoing but is not scared to be out there. He is very strategic and wont go with a certain plan unless he thinks for certain, he'll win whatever it is he will do. Aloysius is one of the only other God's he really tolerates and talks to anymore. Though he puts himself off into a corner, Perses is brewing up a deadly plan to try and cause another war of the heavens. If you piss him off, he'll give you the wrath he's been hiding and building up for 200,000 years of his life. Another really good thing Perses is good at doing is holding grudges. Saying sorry isn't good enough and you have to show you are 'worthy' to him.
The toughest survive while the weakest are left to die. That's Perses's motto, and he follows by that strictly. If he was the only one believing that, fine. If others liked that and thats why they followed him, so be it. No popularity poll will knock Perses down any. Being the God of Fire and having the ability or power to control darkness and death is a pleasure to him. He loves darkness and tries to keep his lands hot, yet keep it dark. Not literally, of course. Perses is twisted and focuses on the negative side of life rather than the positive. Will that knock him down or bring him up? Will his plans to create war in the heavens go as planned or fall to pieces? History: Everything started a long time ago, when war was never ending and life was disintegrating. It was in his younger years, times when he was a little more naive and oblivious to the facts of life. Though he was the owner of darkness and death, he never really understood why. Trying to remain a neutral during the war, simply to protect himself and not wanting to be banished from Earth yet, Perses kept to one side. In the end, the five Gods and Goddesses remained, and one of them included him. The five agreed upon splitting the land up into fifths, so they all got their fair share. With power was greed, and greed showed greatly when this time frame came along. It seemed as though none of the other Gods or Goddesses realized this, but they took the lands they wished to have, leaving Perses with a smaller chunk and a piece he did not want. But, trying to be the bigger man, Perses took the land and made the best of it. As time passed, however, his thoughts overwhelmed him and he kept his mind upon the reasons why he should hate the rest of the Gods and Goddesses around here. This is when his true colors began to shine and he turned proud of being the God of Fire.
Making his lands the land of the 'devil', he pursued to keep his lands hot and to basically "torture" anyone who dared try to make life out of it. He kept to himself almost all of the time, only opening up to Aloysius, but that too was only occasionally. Perses would should his face to the rest of the Gods occasionally, not wanting his thoughts take over. While he kept hidden away, Perses was brewing up a ton of ideas and was thinking of ways to destroy some of the other Gods. He wanted to be the biggest and almighty of them all, wanting the others to bow down and hiss his hooves as he let his forked tongue slither out of his mouth. The word "peace" killed him a little inside whenever he heard it and kind of like Dracula, would hiss and push his wings before his eyes and make his way back to his den. But it's about time when his thoughts of becoming the best dictator came into play and let the war of the heavens break loose again. Picture: None Yet
