Name: Aloysius Pronunciation: al-oo-ISH-us Alias: N/A Age: Immortal Breed: Appaloosa Appearance: include base color, mane&tail color, eye color, height, build, the different forms, etc. In his base form, Aloysius is a flashy golden appaloosa. His coat is a deep, lustrous gold, remaining mostly unbroken over his body. On his rump, there is a clean white splash that spreads neatly over his hips. Along his forehead, there is a crooked, interrupted stripe, its trail resembling vaguely a strike of lightning.
His physical build is textbook for an Appaloosa; A deep yet not overly wide chest, which is typically puffed defiantly outward, prominent withers, length and slope to the pastern, shoulders, and hips. His height is on the larger side of average, at just around 16 hands. His weight coincides with his height, standing just below 1240 pounds.
Other small characteristics in his most natural form are quite noticeable. Instead of having a thinner, more scraggly mane and tail, Aloysius's is quite thick. His tail is not like a normal horse's, but in fact more like a cat's. It is quite agile, and though it cannot hold or move anything, it has been known to wave about like a cat's would. Aloysius's eyes are also quite abnormal; being a vivid green with vertical slits for pupils.
In his most usual of common forms, Aloysius takes the shape of a large lion. It is neither enormous nor small, but its appearance is intimidating nonetheless. It's body is much like any other lion's; blocky and muscular. Yet its mane is a deep brown, verging on black. The tips are the darkest, while closer to the neck they are deep rusty hues. The lion's eyes are still that vibrant green, but not much else seems out of the ordinary from it.
When in his Greater form, however, Aloysius is very obviously a god. He takes the form of a lion once more; yet this time nearly twice the size of even the largest mortal one. His mane is a raging black, its thick tufts standing on end as if an electric current ran through them. His pelt becomes paler, losing some colour of the tawny it once was. Yet on his side, a large marking resembling a lightning strike appears. It is a deep rustic colour, perched just behind his left shoulder. Those who see it are only reassured of who they are dealing with. By now Aloysius's eyes will seem to glow, the green growing steadily brighter.
At his strongest, Aloysius takes the form of a Raiju, or 'Thunder Beast'. It is difficult to truly describe this form, as it is quite frequently changing. Most note it to be of cat like appearance; one of impossible size. One cannot tell what the creature's hide looks like, due to the fact that electricity courses constantly along it, shining so bright that many mortals cannot stand to look at it for long. Its pupils have melded with the rest of the eye, having become unnoticeable from the vibrant green . It is said to have a short tail, but a feline build and head. It's ears are large and pointed, small tufts perched atop them. Physical Abnormalities: one minor and major abnormal trait Element: Aether Talents: Enhanced Charisma, Enhanced Reflexes Powers: Healing, Energy Absorption, Invulnerability, Sonic Scream, Psionic Blast Controls: Electricity, War/Disease Common Form: Felines; most often cheetahs or lions Greater Form: A great lion with a lighting mark across his side and a strange electrical generation around him. Mythological Form: A Raiju Personality: Outwardly, Aloysius is a very charming horse. He has a smooth, deep voice, like velvet it has been said. He carries himself high and walks with pride. It is known that he is very cocky, and puts great faith in his own abilities, even against other gods. He greatly enjoys showing off to others; his greatest hobby is luring in mortal mares with his flashy displays, only to use them and vanish. Aloysius is always moving, never staying in one place for too long. He is not one to come when called, but one to show up whenever he pleases.
However, behind what most see, things can be quite different. Aloysius is very easily jealous, and though he keeps a calm exterior at first, is known to have a short temper and to be prone to outbursts. He is a fleeting lover to many, yet he commands loyalty from all who he captures, even if they stayed for but a night. Aloysius's jealously sits long in his heart, and he often holds grudges to the grave. In that period of time, he will try everything in his power to 'get even', even at the costs of betraying others. History: Aloysius was at one time mortal. But as he has gained immortality and survived the great war of the gods, he has chosen to erase what little remained of his past. If asked, he will not speak of it. If pressed, his temper will flare. No one is sure of his original heritage and upbringing, but it is obvious that it strikes a chord within his being.
